I am Vinay... a software engineer from Bangalore/Bengalooru, Karnataka, India. Even though I was interested in photography from a long time, I didn't have the right equipments until recently...

As a software engineer and photography being my passion, learning has become an integral part of me. Even though its more than a year since I started taking pictures in my Nikon D40x, I am still learning! I recently bought a set of filters varying from UV, CPL, ND to Green, Red, & Yellow. Various websites, critics, family and friends, in short the entire human population I know has helped me in the past and still helping me to learn various photographic techniques.

I like seeing places and capturing the moment permanently in my camera. But sometimes it is not possible to carry my DSLR to all the places. At that time, I use my Nokia N73 to capture the moments.

Anything good doesn't remain good until and unless you share it with somebody else. Aminus3 gives me an opportunity to share my experiences and the moments that I have captured with rest of the world.

I request all of them who visit my photoblog to give comments in detail. This really helps me improvise myself.

Photography Equipment

I use Nikon D40x 18-55 mm and 55 - 200 mm Nikkor Zoom lenses, various filters
And sometimes I use Nokia N73 3.2 MP mobile camera phone...

I use GIMP to edit my photographs.
