1000 legged freaks!!!

@{H} creatives: These are very shy creatures and roll-up if you happen even to walk next to them... They are common (atleast in Karnataka) esp in damp places...

And, more than anything else, thank you very much for checking out my photos..

@ttomasso: Hi ttomasso, it is not difficult to find this creature in Bangalore, India. When the rain pours, one can see these in hundreds in many places esp. near gardens....

@Daroru: Hi Daroru, it wasn't crawling on my hand, instead it was on my friend's. It's a shy creature and mostly found during rainy season or near water resources or in forests in Karnataka (sorry I don't know about other places)

It is very friendly.. at first is curled itself in but after some time was enjoying on my friend's palm and my friend was more than happy to take a couple more. The second one that was on his hand fell down just before I captured this photo and for the same reason he has brought his right hand in front of his left....

No it doesn't sting... I have heard that some people even eat that... but I am not sure... (I am sorry if I am wrong here)

Thanks for dropping by... and don't get frightened.. it doesn't sting... or even bite...
