Milky Jog!Posted by Vinay (Bangalore, India) on 9 August 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. This Jog waterfalls located in Shimoga district in Karnataka state of India is world famous. :):) The Sharavathi river gets divided into 4 parts - Raja(King), Roarer, Rocket and Rani (Queen) - together forming the Jog falls before joining again at the base. This was my 3rd visit. The first 2 visits was not in any way a good one... Because of the rain failure, there wasn't much water and as told by a car driver - It looked as if somebody was pouring a bottle of water from the top. Hmmm.. anyway... this time it was a different case. I had planned well and according to the plan visited Jog in the mid-monsoon time and was very happy to see some water happily falling down as Raja, Roarer, Rocket and Rani. The photograph that you see is part of Raja. What is of interest to me in this photograph? And I also feel happy that I didn't reduce the shutter speed as I had thought. Otherwise, I guess I wouldn't have had got such a wonderful photograph. This photograph is completely unedited except for reduction in the size. For more information about Jog.. Check out wiki. Thank you for visiting my photo blog... Please leave you comments... That is what is making me a better photographer each day... Looking out for positive and negative comments as well.
