» View list of all help & support questions How do I search for another member in the community? We are in the process of adding new search and bookmarking features for members. Currently the best way to search a member is from the community page using your browsers find function (usually CTRL-F on Windows or CMD-F on MacOS). Why does my name not display on the list of community members? The community page shows a list of members who are activated and who have posted images 'recently'. How recently depends on what level of member you are. For example, new members are removed from the list if they do not post a new image within a week, whereas members in the 100+ category are removed only if they go a full month without posting. In this way, Aminus3 rewards those who post consistently over time. If your name does not appear in the list this means that either your account is not yet activate or you have not posted an image recently. Note that the list of community members is cached and changes do not appear immediately. Why is my name greyed out on the list of community members?Members with grey names on the community page are members that have not posted an image today (the current calendar day). Alternatively, members listed in color have posted an image today. Posting a new image for the current day will allow your name to appear in colour again. Note that the list of community members is cached and changes do not appear immediately. Why does my image for today not display on the community page?Firstly, ensure that your account has been activated. Only the photos of active members are displayed on public Aminus3 pages. Additionally, the community page will only show a subset of the daily photos for a given calendar day. Hitting refresh on your browser will load a new subset of images. We are in the process of redesigning the community page to better represent each of our members. Why is my image count different on the community page and archive page?As a means to prevent people from back posting images to get a higher count on the community page, we only count the number of images since the member sign up date. Although the community page doesn't count back-posted images (any images with dates older than your start-up date), your archive page counts all the images you have posted. Can I setup a Blog Watch to track my favorite Aminus3 blogs? You can add an Aminus3 member to your Blog Watch by clicking on the eye icon under the rating stars on the right side of the image. Note that you must be signed in to see this icon. You can view your Blog Watch images on the admin page under Favorites, Blog Watch. How is the spotlight image chosen? The spotlight image selection is based on several factors including the image's popularity, style and uniqueness. It's not an exact science but in general we usually look at the images for a given day and select one or two that stand above the others. If you have a suggestion for the spotlight, send us the URL and we'll take a look. ContactNeed further assistance?
